MIA

Sorry to be missing in action lately - life has been a bit more crazy than usual. About 2 weeks ago, we (meaning Shane) had to fire one of the women who worked in our office (she was high...) So I have been working WAY too many hours now and it sucks - I'm sure that the paycheck will be good, but I hate being away from Ryan so much. Today was the first day that I didn't cry on my way into work... I really want to be a stay at home mom, but just can't right now. But I am really excited for the day that I will be able to do that!!! :)

On a better note - I cooked dinner for my family tonight! For most of you this is probably not a huge deal, but for me it's GIGANTIC! I never cook dinner - Ben is usually the one who cooks if we have a home cooked meal, but this week is the end of me being a HORRIBLE wife/mother. So on Sunday, I planned out what I wanted to make this week and yesterday bought the fixings and tonight I cooked Parmasian Chicken! It was a fun receipe and Ben really liked it :)

Other than that, everyone is doing good. Ryan is getting so huge that it's crazy! He's talking a lot more everyday and it makes me a little sad to see how fast he is growing up.

Hang in there Erin. Your so lucky to have family to care for your Ry guy. Congratulations... you cooked dinner on top of everything else. You're amazing. I have to plan out what we eat every week too or five o' clock rolls around and I'm like.... IHOP anyone:)

I'm sorry to hear about all the work hours. Being a working mom is hard. I hardly ever make a decent meal. Mac & Cheese...soup...eggs & toast. I'm good at those :)
Who is able to watch Ryan for you? Hope things get to slow down a bit for you. I'm looking forward to listening to conference and am hoping there will be something to help me cope with my feelings about the whole working thing (I'm sure there will be...)
Have a great day!

I totally understand. Cooking dinner is a MASSIVE deal for me too! Marcos always makes the food...he has a natural talent for it. Me? I take about 3 hours to make anything and hold to the steps of the recipe for dear life. Kudos to you!

Erin, I love it! Let's plan food together because I never cook either. Girls like us are spoiled, but it's okay because I'm fine living on cereal and string cheese. We can also dream together about the day when we get to stay home with our most adorable kids. I just think they won't remember it, but when they do they'll love it because the people who watch them love them so much. We need to get together and swap sorrows.
