Flashback Friday

My best friend Ashley told me about FLASHBACK FRIDAY. It's something her friend does with her blog and I think it's a great idea. So in honor of Ashley's stolen idea here's a flashback of ASHLEY!!!

I went to Disneyland this morning for a few hours (my parents guilted me into it... long story... not worth telling) Anyway - I was at Disneyland today and I passed by the Sword in the Stone by the Carousel ride and I remembered the time that Ashley and I tried to get the sword out of the stone... we failed of course but took some fun pictures. I loved going to Disneyland with Ashley - especially when we were younger and would go on vacation to Disneyland for like a week at a time! FUN TIMES!!! I love you Ashley and I can't wait to go to Disneyland with our kids in a few weeks!!!

Pretty Boy

Yesterday I was at Kelly Paper with Ryan and there were 2 salesmen helping me and they were talking to Ryan and he was smiling and being all cute. Then one of the salesmen asked... "Is that a girl or a really pretty boy?" I thought that was the funniest question ever! Especially since Ryan was wearing plaid shorts and a blue shirt... But I do think he is a very pretty baby :)

He loves to look at himself in the mirror. He helps me get ready in the morning. He hands me my brush. Sometimes he likes the lick the brush... we're working on that one.He also goes through my make-up bag and hands me whatever I need...
Like for instance my eyelash curler :)

On Sunday when we got home from church - he was a really tired baby! But I was really hungry and couldn't hold him to get him to fall asleep. So I made him a bottle and put him on the floor on his back... Thinking that he would eat and then I would pick him up after I ate and he would have a nice nap.
However, he rolled on his tummy and fell asleep! It was soo cute! I put a blanket over him and he took a 2 hour nap!

Also - I got a picture of him pointing today - so cute! I love when he points :)

Thankful Thursday!

So my best friend Ashley gave me a suggestion to do "Flashback Fridays" - apparently her friend does that and I thought it was a super good idea. So I will be doing that as well, but I also wanted to do "Thankful Thursday". This will be the first edition :)

Today I'm really thankful for my husband. I'm thankful that he works hard so that I can stay home with Ryan. I do work a little bit but not a whole lot and I'm able to bring my son to work if I need to. But I'm thankful for Ben's work ethic - he puts all that his has into his company (http://www.propacificbee.com/ and http://www.propacificpest.com/), his calling as Young Men's President and his family. I'm thankful that Ben is a good father. The other day when Ben came home from work, Ryan was sitting on the floor playing with some toys and as soon as he saw his dad he started jumping in his seat and said: "DADADADDDAAADADADA" It was probably the cutest thing ever! So to recap... I'M REALLY THANKFUL FOR MY HUSBAND!

Ryan loves desks! Especially his Daddy's and his Papa Tom's! He loves to pull the papers off the desk and grab at anything within his reach. At his Papa's house he even has his own "mouse" that he can move around the desk. At his Daddy's work he has his very own keyboard to type on! He is a very curious boy and likes to explore everything. Recently he has started pointing with one finger at things. He is very gentle and will try to touch things very softly while pointing. SO CUTE!

It's About TIME!

So I haven't blogged in quite a while... The reason is simple. No one ever reads my blogs! But I'm going to try and change that. I will start blogging more regularly because frankly it's fun. I have learned that blogs can be just about anything (Thanks Jeremy for teaching me that!) I would blog on MySpace, but I hate MySpace - I do love, however, FACEBOOK! You all should have a facebook profile. Muy funo!

Well today I am at work... http://www.propacificbee.com/ or http://www.propacificpest.com/ and I like working but I really miss my baby boy! I don't know how Ben can do it - go to work ALL day long and not see our baby! He is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen - I might be a bit biased though :)

Anyway - Our family is doing good - we work hard and that's about it :) So I am going to blog more - so come back soon and see what interesting things will be here!!!

Summertime

I was reading my bestest best friend in the whole wide world (besides my hubby of course) blog today and it made me start reminiscing about the good old days. I used to love the summertime. I never went inside unless it was soooo hot that I absolutely could not stand it... I loved playing baseball, basketball, roller hockey and going to the park. Swimming was always fun too! But now my summers are filled with working and working some more. Not all that exciting, but every now and then I get a day off and it's fun.

Ben and I went to Disneyland last Saturday. I hadn't been in a really long time... I had a blast though! When we got there we met some of my parents friends. My parents are so funny - they have this huge group of friends that they meet up with at Disneyland every weekend and they watch different bands play. At first I thought my parents were just plain crazy, but now I understand why they go to Disneyland so much! Then Ben and I got some food and went and watched another band play with my parents. The food was good, but a little pricey! After we ate we watched the Swing Dancers dance dance dance! There was this one couple that I couldn't take my eyes off of. They were such talented dancers and I really wish that I had that talent!

Speaking of dancing - Shane, Melinda, James, Christy, Ben and I all started taking dancing lessons! It's such a blast - we're learning the fox trot right now for Shane and Melinda's wedding - they are having their first dance choreographed and it's going to be so beautiful! I'm having a lot of fun learning to dance! But I would like to learn some faster dances like swing, mambo, salsa, rumba, etc...

New to the Blogging world

So today at work I discovered the "blog" thanks to a name that will remain anonymous. But this should be a fun filled new adventure for me!

Well that is all for the time being - I will write a new one of these later when something more exciting happens or I can think of something more interesting to write... like random ant facts or something...
