So You Think You Can Dance Top 6

Last night's show was GREAT! I love EVERY SINGLE DANCE! It was a super big night - I mean even Paula Abdul was there :) Cat Deely's shoes were totally ugly and I LOVE Adam Shankman! He is great - Cat is not... I couldn't find videos with just the dancing - so these have the beginning interviews which are good, but can be skipped if you want.

Here is Twitch and Chelsie - FANTASTIC - It's only 2 minutes long so watch it all :)

A Jazz route with Marc and Courtney

By far the best couple was Joshua and Katee - one of them will win it - you just wait and see :)

This one is a little longer, but just skip to the dancing! IT'S SO WORTH IT I PROMISE!

Ryan really liked the Paso Doble music :)

A Week without Ben: Day 3

I got Gangsta'

So me being the complete dork that I am bought a hat from Wal*Mart ($5:)) so that I could get down with my bad self for Mutual - we played Dance Dance Revolution! I had a ton of fun and I really enjoyed the game... I'll have to get it when I get my Wii (Here's still wishin')

A Week without Ben: Day 2 con't

Ryan and I went to Shane, Melinda and Olivia's house last night to hang out and we had a great time!!! Took some funny photos with my cell phone that I thought y'all might enjoy :)Ryan had a Butterfingers wrapper in his mouth and this kept him entertained for about an hour - NO JOKE :)This is what happens when Olivia goes to bed. He gets bows and/or headbands put on :)I also turned Ry's car seat around today to the forward facing position and he actually really liked it - The only problem is now he can see when I'm eating something while driving and wants to eat whatever I'm eating :)And this one I just thought was cute... SO I posted it :)

A Week without Ben: Day 2

Returns
I love going shopping because I get the thrill/excitement of buying something - It makes me feel good... Until I come home and balance my checkbook... And usually the next day I return some items :) I got some really cute stuff from Guess, but it was still super expensive (even at factory/outlet prices) and I just couldn't see myself getting a lot of wear out of it. So it didn't make the cut :)

The X-Files: I Want To Believe

Last night was great - Has some good Tai food with Cory and Calee and then headed over to the theater to watch a movie and to my great astonishment we saw The X-Files Movie!!! I was super excited to see it but thought that I would have had to have seen it by myself... Ben is not a big X-Files fan and my loyal blog readers will remember that I am :) So long story short - I LOVE IT and Ben did not... It was great if you liked the show... There were actually a couple of twists that I really liked... So all you X-Files fans - ENJOY!

The Next Joker

Ryan is all ready for the part. I think he will be a great Joker :)

So You Think You Can Dance Top 8

Last night Ben and I took the youth to do Baptisms at the Temple and didn't get back home until 11:45pm! Needless to say we didn't watch all of last night's episode... I did, however watch the first 4 dances and they were fantastic! Much better chemistry than last week. Everyone did great (in their first dance). But of course I already have a favorite from last night and it was SUPER HOT :)

The Dark Knight

I have one word to describe this move - BAT-ICLE! (oh my word I totally just said that... I'm a total dork!) I loved this movie!!! Oh my gosh... So I love Batman Begins and with all sequels I was a little apprehensive about this one, but when it came out the reviews were incredible - EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER it seems liked this movie. Reviewers kept saying that this was Heath Ledger's best role yet and that made me sad because I thought that they were just saying that because Heath died in January - VERY SAD. But they weren't lying - this was his absolute BEST role and he did such an incredible job. Which of course makes me more sad. :( But in any case this movie might be one of the best I've ever seen.
It was a long movie, but I never felt that way in my seat. The fight scenes weren't over done and the acting was amazing - I definitely liked Maggie Gyllenhaal WAY better than Katie Holmes. Christian Bale is very cute but extremely HOT in a bat suit. I don't know what it is about the bat suit, but it seriously is great! Morgan Feeman and Michael Caine are great and I was surprised by Aaron Eckhart's character. Everything about this was awesome. If you don't go see it in the theatre you will be bummed that you didn't. I actually wouldn't mind going again! Best summer movie yet this year!!!

Tour Dates are up!

So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2008! I'm so excited for the next tour - Ben and I have gone the past 2 years and it was so much fun! The first year we went it was at the theatre in Universal Studios and was super fun. Last year it was at the San Diego Sports Arena... sucky venue. But we had fun still. This year the show in San Diego is on a Sunday so we aren't going to that one :) THANK GOODNESS - because the venue really was crappy. So we are decided between Anaheim - the Honda Center - also known as the Pond or the Nokia theatre in LA. I'm wondering if anybody has been to either place and if it's nice. Also if you know where good seats are. I kind of have an idea of where I want to sit, but I really rather go to the nicer venue. So let me know if you have been to the Honda Center or the Nokia theater. THANKS

So You Think You Can Dance Top 10

Cat Deely must have been drunk last night because she was even more annoying and asked even stupider questions. So the conclusion that I came up with is that she is either retarded or she was drunk. Last night's show left me very disappointed from the beginning! First of all, I was totally looking forward to Jessica being voted off tonight and now I don't get to see that because of her stupid injury!!! And it must not be that bad if she can go on the stage is super high heels and a super tight and not to mention short dress... skank!

Let me give you a little history of the show... In Season one they had the dancers trade/switch partners EVERY week from week one - this resulted in a lack of chemistry. The top 2 dancers that season were dancers who strangely enough danced with each other almost every week and were able to develop that chemistry needed. That is the problem I had with last night's show - there was a total lack of chemistry with the couples. Even some of my most favorite dancers couldn't pull it off.

There were some things I was happy with - Will getting Katie as a partner was awesome and he danced with his shirt off. Although I don't think I want him in the top 4... Haven't made up my mind yet. I do want Joshua in the top 4 - he is fantastic! LOVE HIM! I also love Twitch and Mark... So very very hard to decide! I do know that the top 2 girls should be Katie and Chelsea Hightower! Anyway - I did enjoy Twitch and Comfort's Hip Hop and Will and Katie's weird name dance so enjoy the videos :)

By the way - way to go David Archtuleta!

What do you remember?

I saw this on a friend’s blog and thought I was cool. It’s a lot better than tagging, that’s for sure! (But don't get me wrong - I like TAG:)) So I’m giving it a try and I can’t wait to see what happens.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.

More of Ryan's Birthday!

Ryan turned one a week ago today! CRAZY! I, of course, took the day off and took my boy SHOPPING!!! He loved it - as all boys do :)

We went to lunch at Sammy's and saw Aunt Christy :) We had a good lunch where Ryan tried coloring for the first time and enjoyed himself!
Lunch was fantastic and I highly recommend Sammy's to EVERYONE! After we ate our lunch Ryan got a free messy sundae for his birthday - the dessert was about as big as he is! VERY YUMMY!
Then of course, Ben and I took Ryan to Chuck E Cheese's for dinner. Here is a picture of Ryan on that Truck he loved to ride...
He really liked the slide too, but much preferred to try to go UP the slide rather than to go down the slide.
Had a little bit of a hard time getting up the slide so Daddy helped him out just a bit.
Played some more games and went home...It was a great day for me - so I hope Ryan had a good 1st birthday! It's really crazy to think that he is already ONE! I just can't believe how fast time flies!

Ryan's Birthday

So last Wednesday was Ryan's birthday. I've been meaning to blog about this for almost a week now and I still don't have my camera with me... So here is just a little taste :)

That night for Ryan's birthday Ben and I took him to Chuck E Cheese!!! It was a lot of fun - Ryan enjoyed some of the "rides". His favorite was this off road truck that moved up and down. He would laugh at that ride! Ben and I got to play ski-ball and that was fun too :) Here are a few pictures and I promise more to come!
