So You Think You Can Dance Tour 2008!

Last night Ben and I went to the SYTYCD tour in Anaheim at the Honda Center (where the Ducks play). It was an amazing venue. This was our 3rd year going and it was probably the BEST year yet! I've learned over the years where the best seat REALLY are and this year the seats were perfect! My absolute favorite dances we saw live and I was actually impressed by Jessica's solo... My loyal blog fans :) will remember that I did not like her at all, but she really was impressive on stage. Gev was also incredible and Twitch, Joshua, Katee and Kherrington were ALL AMAZING live! I had a GREAT time and I think my very favorite dance... if I just had to pick one... would be the door dance - Twitch and Katee dancing to Mercy by Duffy - IT WAS HOT! But I also loved so many more that I won't bore you with :)

The Bed dance was amazing as well... Our stupid camera wasn't working so we didn't take very many pictures :( STUPID CAMERA!
After the show, we waited around to see the dancers come out and maybe get a couple pictures taken with them... We waited about 30 minutes and then decided that we were more tired than we thought so we went home! It was a great night and a great week!!!

The Office Premiere Party!

Last night we had an Office Premiere Party at Shane and Melinda's house! It was so much fun! I helped Melinda decorate the house earlier that day as we were the Party Planning Committee - I found super tacky clearance items and Melinda got streamers and the place looked great! I made Jello with a stapler in it... didn't turn out quite as good... but it was still funny!

But by the end of the night... it looked VERY sad. Shane/Michael was the only one who would eat it!

Did I mention that we dressed up as characters from the show??? Oh YES WE DID!

Monday Night FOOTBALL!

So last night was agurably the best Family Home Evening EVER! (except for the fact that Ryan was not present:)) On Father's Day this year I got Ben tickets to the Chargers game. I was getting a little bit worried that the game was going to suck because the last 2 games were stinkers - and that's all I'll say on the matter or else this could turn into a REALLY LONG blog :)

Last year for Christmas my parents got Ben and I tickets to the Christmas Eve game and it was soooo much fun - HOWEVER - we left for the game only 2 hours early last year and didn't get to our seat until AFTER HALFTIME... That was so not cool so this year we left EXTRA early and took the trolly to Qualcomm Staumn. I had never ridden the Trolly before and it was super fun!The trolly was JAM PACKED! Also - please notice my hair... Comments are welcome :)

We got into the statum and met up with James and Christy - Christy was very stoked to wear her Eric Weddle jersey and James was SUPER stoked to wear his Eric Weddle jersey that Christy made for him... :)They pointed out to us that Dennis Quaid, Steve Young and Emmett Smith were on the field. I have no idea what Dennis Quaid was doing there, but Steve Young and Emmett Smith were there doing to ESPN Monday Night Football stuff.

It was cool to see the boys come out to warm up before the game. Here is Weddle and Jammer - both had a good night - especially Weddle who had a pretty important interception.Antnio Gates - LOVES HIM! He did great last night too! But of course my FAVORITE is LT!!! He is such a great player and cool guy! Tolbert is a new guy whom I also really like this year - He took Lorenzo Neil's place and I really miss Neil, but Tolbert is super cool too - He got a TD last night.Tomlinson got his 1st 2 TD's of the season last night - He is just so fun to watch!!! Rivers is actually pretty fun to watch too. Here is LT coming out at the beginning of the game... By the way - I forgot to mention that I started getting sick on Friday or Saturday... So by Monday I was starting to fell better but I pretty much cheered my head off the whole game... Needless to say my voice is not what it should be :) Cliff Barnum's TWIN!Ben and I with the CRAZY Jet's fan - He was funny until he got really drunk and the Jet's were TOTALLY LOSING! haha jk I actually sat next to a Jet's fan that was from Queens, NY and he was really cool!Brett Farve - it was his 1st loss to the CHARGERS... Poor baby :)

James really wanted to go on the field... He even told the security guard that he was a kicker, but they didn't think his jersey was real... Apparently we thought we were at PROM :) We had a great time! After the game we got in the HUGE line for the Trolly and decided that we would rather walk to the next station than wait in line... We could find the next station so we walked 2 stations over - we think about 2 miles in the time it would have taken us to stand in line. It was a really nice walk - I liked it. :)

Weekend!

Well we had a fun weekend this week - On Friday, I went to dinner and shopping with some friends while Ben painted :) Last night we hung out with Ben and Collette Guerrero (which by the way - Collette does hair - FANTASTICALLY - so if you are in the area you should have her do your hair!!!) We went to dinner after Ben and I got our haircut (more pictures of my hair to come) Ben drank so much soda that our waitress brought him his own pitcher of soda with a straw... It was humorous :)

When we got home last night we put some of our furniture back and our house looks so good!!!

And yesterday I found this RAD lamp! Loves it! I got it for $19.00 at this really cool antique shop in San Marcos!!! Ryan likes it too :)

Renovations: Day 1

We (meaning Ben) started painting last night :) We (again, I mean Ben) didn't get a whole lot done because we had mutual last night, but he started on the main wall. I'm really excited about this color and change!!!
Ryan liked to get into the paint so he was banished to his room :) He looks kinda happy in that picture but he was not... :)Here's what it looks like today!!! Love the color, but it need another coat :) More pictures to come!!!

Super Excited for Halloween!

Last year I bought Ryan's costume a year early! That's right I bought his costume on clearance when I was only 2 months pregnant with him!!! He was a cute Winnie the Pooh Honey Pot :) This year I got really excited again and already ordered his costume! He loves Cars and so he will be a race car driver this year! They don't make race car costumes for toddlers so I bought the smallest one I could and it's a bit big but it will work! Can't wait to get him all dressed up :)
